About Me

Live in Douglas county, served in the Army, 4 tours in Nam, have three children in the military serving presently, our family is a military family, we honor our military by putting on "American Solider" which is a static display, and traveling to different events in the northwest also participate in Military parades honoring our military.

We love our country and still live in the greatest nation in the world, thanks to our military men and women to continue to keep our country great, I did not know about the history of Camp Adair, but I will visit it soon, many soldiers that trained  before leaving for overseas missions, our unsung hero's that made such great sacrifices before leaving to fight in war. to our military past and present THANK YOU !

I work with veterans and soldiers, when  I'am not doing that our spring and summer months are getting out in the public and making a positive out look for our military boys and women, doing static displays and military vehicle  displays, work with VFW, American Legion, and private org, and if we have time take a vacation now and then to pearl harbor where history was made or south east Asia.    I'am retired but you would not know it.

About Me

I have updated my photo to show how I look when I give a presentation about Camp Adair. I have been asked to talk about the camp, and the buildings that I have tracked down, at several organizations. If you belong to a local group that would like to hear about my finds, please contact me.

About Me

Born in Eugene Oregon, currently living in Albany.  Spent 24 years in the military, 5 of those years as a recruiter for the Army National Guard in Corvallis.  Adair history has always fascinated me.  I also had a friend who was stationed at Adair when it was an Air Force Station.

About Me

St. Augustine's Catholic Church in Lincoln City is one of the Camp Adair chapels. I create displays about the history of our church, and was so happy to find this website.
