I am researching my father's WW II history. I have his discharge papers, but it is unclear which unit he belonged to while in Europe.. He was stationed in Italy and N. Africa. According to my hometown newspaper in Mt. Vernon, KY, he was sent to Camp Adair for basic training. I have a picture of him which shows a bit of the Trailblazers badge on his sleeve. According to a military historian, he was likely assigned to the 70th Infantry Division, but then transferred to the 91st Division. This makes sense when all the facts are put together. If you can help[, please let me know. Do you have any of the original roosters of the men in both units? His name was Charles Madison Baker. I will attach a picture when I get a response from your email. Thanks, Cathy Baker, daughter of a grateful WW II vet.
